GFOA Event # 5 WORST REFFING / STAFF

Event # 5 was the worst reffing and staff I have seen in 16 years of tournament play. The first game into the D-4 Finals, some brilliant GFOA Ref pulled a player who was in the SNAKE 50, for having had his BARREL CONDOM fall out of his pocket while crawling in the snake,in the FINALS. REALLY???? Sorry, I am really not joking, this actually happened!! When Tim the "so called" Ultimate Ref and Joe the Owner of the Field were approached with this situation, they somehow could not reach down and grab ahold and rectify the situation in any way besides saying that " I as the owner stand by my refs" and, the rule book will not be changed this season" . They were referring to GFOA rule # 21.4 which talks about " playing equipment ". Since when, before the paintball god's with the GFOA, ever considered paintball condoms a part of your playing equipment and such that you can be eliminated for one that falls out of your pocket during play. After this event, the Reffing with the CFOA stands out in my mind as the best in the region for this level of play. I will say this, If your team is Atlanta based, you will receive exceptional reffing at any of the GFOA tournaments. Keep in mind, I only speak of (1) call at this event, it will take me a week or two to get the rest posted. :tdown: So, we and our sister squads will only play the CFOA and Nationals from here on out for sure.
